These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of scanmyrank.com and the ScanMyRank service (the "Service"), operated by ScanMyRank ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

ScanMyRank analyses websites and Shopify stores against established SEO best practices and provides a health score, a list of issues, and recommended fixes. We continually improve the Service and may add, change, or remove features.

2. Accounts & eligibility

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

3. Free scan

Your first scan is free and shows a limited report (your score, top issues, and a sample fix). Free use is subject to fair-use limits to protect the Service.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans are Pro at $49/month and Premier at $99/month, billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe.
Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel.
You can cancel anytime from your account; your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
Payments for the current period are non-refundable, but cancelling stops all future charges. Your past reports remain available to you.
We may change prices with reasonable advance notice; changes apply to future billing periods.

5. Acceptable use

Only submit websites or stores you own or have permission to analyse.
Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to infringe others' rights, or to disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or any system.
Do not resell, copy, or reverse-engineer the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us. Your reports are provided for your own use. You retain ownership of the websites you submit.

7. Disclaimers

Search rankings are determined by third parties (such as Google and Bing) that we do not control. We do not guarantee any particular ranking, traffic, or revenue result. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScanMyRank will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others or to the Service.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which ScanMyRank is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
